1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using updates.bio ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
updates.bio provides users with a customizable "link-in-bio" storefront that allows users to consolidate links to their social media channels, external websites, and display products or services. The Platform acts solely as a display conduit and does not facilitate or process direct financial transactions between you and your customers.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering an account.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.
- Only upload content, links, and images for which you have the legal right or permission to use.
- Not use the Platform for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activities, including the distribution of malware, spam, or hate speech.
4. Content Ownership and Licensing
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to your storefront. However, by uploading content, you grant updates.bio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content strictly for the purpose of operating and providing the Platform's services.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall updates.bio, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. By continuing to access or use our Platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
